The new members of the Lex team come from various backgrounds and they bring a bring a wide breadth of knowledge and expertise to their respective positions.Brian McGlone joins Lex as Senior VP of Marketing and Sales after a distinguished twenty five year career with Hubbell Inc. At Hubbell, he moved his way up the ranks from sales associate to Senior VP of Marketing and Sales, where he oversaw worldwide marketing and sales programs for a division that generated almost half a billion dollars in sales. CEO Bob Luther noted that “as Lex Products grows it becomes increasingly important to deliver products and services that precisely meet our customers’ needs and that we clearly communicate our message. Brian McGlone has produced at the highest level in this capacity for decades and I can’t think of an individual better suited to head up Lex’s marketing and sales efforts. I have no doubt that you will see a turbo-charged marketing presence from Lex Products in the years to come.” Brian’s hiring is the most recent and visible sign of an emphasis on Marketing that Lex has been cultivating over the past year. In addition to hiring Graham Likeness as Director of Marketing in January, Lex has just added another Hubbell alumnus, Alan Perlot, as Product Manager. In this position Al will help Lex to continue to move forward with innovative products and exceed customer expectations. In Sales, Allen DeMarcken is Lex’s new Director of National Sales. He will oversee all sales territories, develop and coordinate national sales plans, and expand Lex’s sales capabilities. In order to carry out these responsibilities, he will be traveling between 50 and 75% of the time and will work from his home in Florida when not on the road.
Raj Katwala is Lex’s newest Mechanical Engineer. He will be assigned to the Intelligent Power Management and Distribution System program currently underway in the Military Power Systems division. His prior experience at Hubbell as lead in the development of the Residential product line and technical support to high volume part manufacturing will provide the kind of support needed for this program. Rounding out the new hires and also working in the Military Power Systems Division is Vikki Shantz, Lex’s Business Development Manager for that segment. Vikki comes to Lex from Virginia with a history of working with and for a number of defense-related companies. She will open new markets and sales opportunities within the Military Business Segment, capitalizing on an already strong presence in that arena.
