Grid Junction Boxes and Accessories

Grid Junction Boxes are the interface between building conduit and multi conductor cables that feed connector
strips or outlet boxes. They are typically mounted to grids above the stage or surface mounted to walls.

Specifications

The junction box shall be a Listed wireway constructed of 16 gauge welded steel. The exterior dimensions of the wireway shall be 7-1/2” high x 3” deep, with the width being dependent upon the number of circuits specified.

The junction box shall include a removable steel cover to allow access to the wiring and cage clamp terminals. The proper number of terminals shall be provided to allow the installation of separate hot and neutral conductors for each electrical circuit. Terminal blocks shall be non loosening, cage clamp style. Separate lugs shall be provided for terminating any grounding conductor.

All painted surfaces shall be baked enamel.
